Industry Involvement

We are proud to be involved with, and an active supporter of the professional towing industries’ Roadside Responder’s Association of Saskatchewan. The work of the association is to promote the industry, advocate for increased awareness of the need to slow down when passing emergency vehicles (including towers!) on the side of the road, and partnering with government towards the betterment of our industry.

Recover Vehicles out of the US and Canada Wide

Our insurance policies are registered from B.C. through to Ontario and are one of the few Towing providers with U.S. DOT (required for any long distance mover that performs interstate moves. ) and ICC numbers capable of recovering units out of the U.S.  We are chartered members of the “Mission Zero” program and IS Net certified.

Towing and Hauling Equipment

We have tilt deck trucks, slide axle tractor-trailers, double drop trailers, tandem wreckers, and switch tractors to meet our customers’ vast needs.

Community Involvement

We are proud to contribute to many community events and to participate in the many initiatives that make Saskatoon such a great place to live and work. Some of our opportunities to give back have included:

Proud of our Roots

We are proud of our deep roots and connection to the towing industry. Brad’s Towing began as a dream over 40 years ago and became a reality in 2001 when Brad Stratychuk and Tammy Benson opened the doors for the first time.

Brad started towing part-time in 1982, covering weekends and whenever else he could from his “regular job”. The following year, a leased operator position became available at Bridge City Towing in Saskatoon, and he immediately purchased his first truck, a 1979 GMC with an Ashton wrecker. Brad remained a leased operator there for 8 years; also covering heavy as soon as he got his 1A license. After that, he was a leased operator at Astro Towing for 10 years. It was at that point that Brad was able to start his own business, Brad’s Towing, with the goal of “putting service back into the service industry”.

Brad and Tammy dedicated themselves to operating and growing the business for 20 years, and truly built a reputation for dependable and reliable service. Today, they are retired but remain active in the community and industry. Brad is currently serving as President of the Roadside Responder’s Association of Saskatchewan
